Not that either look is better than the other, but what I would prefer is the pics on the right. I want very straight thin clean looking dreads. I don't want to end up with wide, flat, oddly-shaped, or frizzy dreads. Some people like theirs that way, and it's not bad or anything, it's just not what I want. (By the way, I appologize if any of those pictures are people from this community)
So my question is, what method would be the best to achieve the type I'm looking for, and aside from the method-type, what specific things could I do to achieve that exact dread-type. I guess the most important part is how do I keep the length of the whole dread a uniform size? The dreads on the left side of that pic along with many dreads I've seen seem to be very wide at the top and get drastically thinner quickly, making more of a carrot shape. So what things can I do to achieve uniformity, as well as minimize friz, and well you get the point. Thanks in advance.
