I woke up this morning feeling pretty crappy from last night, but I'm not going to let my past issues get me down. So, I get up and look in the mirror @ my dreads. One side is in my face and the other side is going toward the back of my head. No matter how I move em they fall back in same place. One is crossing over another, another one won't lay flat. They have a mind of their own. I guess that's how it is in the beginning right?

alright, i think this is a pretty bad situation.
so i just moved to cali, in a room of a house that i share with two guys (unneccessary detail). anyway, i believe the room has fleas.
if the room has fleas, is it safe to say that my dreads are infected with fleas too? i haven't seen any sign of them in my hair (yet), but i wear a tam to bed so that they have less of a chance crawling inside my dreadies.
i plan on buying a bug-bomb thing to kill the fleas. meanwhile i wash my dreads with tea tree oil shampoo every 3 days.
any other precautions i should take?
thank you muchly.

so my mom gets me some shampo, and its tea tree (lol unknowingly she got be great dread shampoo) so here is the thing. since i have some good natural shampoo i want to attempt natural dreads. so here is what i do, i was my hair every two days and when im done i shake vigerously (like a child saying no, then headbang then repeat) to get all the water down and to make it lay down natural then i push it into a part. now is this good or should i just let it stay in its clumps straight from washing it and let it dry?
