More pictures of New Members...

Hi there, have just joined this group and thought I'd better put up a piccy!

My dreads are about 5/6 years old and dyed with a secret recipe of 3 Special Effects Purple dyes. They were started by having my hair in braids which then grew out, with the roots matted together. I took the braids out but didn't brush the roots away... This was the result! Messy ends but thin dreadlets.

tree of life

(no subject)

hey all, i've got a question for some of you that might be able to help me out. i know that this has been discussed here a while ago but i couldn't find it. (a memories section really would be helpful here, but it's ok.)

i know some of you have been able to explain how you sew loose hairs into your dreads. the process is pretty obvious but i just have a question on how you get the loose hairs attached to the needle when sewing. do you just tie it? any other tips would be appreciated too. thanks in advanced.

Okay so... my tips suck. I want them to be round and pretty:) Any hints (other than "paitence")... tips, tricks?

How well does the tip on dreadheadhq.com work where you push the tip inside itself and secure it with an elastic band? Anyone tried this?

Any input would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks guys!

(On a completely unrelated sidenote, I know there are many-a-Incubus fans here, I got the new CD (leaked! horray for internet piracy!), AND IT'S FANTASTIC! I can't stop raving about it. That is all.)
