Because it's about time I came out in the sunshine.

Good morning dreaddies! I'm Becky, of eighteen years, and currently of Maryland fame. I've stalked this community for a long time, but never posted on my own. You all seem to answer my questions without my even needing to ask! Ah - and you all are BEAUTIFUL people. The dread pictures make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and give me hope for my own poor hair.

So, I was wondering, are any of you lovelies going to Bonnaroo this summer?

Dearest dreadies-

This process of creating dreads is long and painful, but I love the result more than words. I took out my elastics today and noticed that I have about 2 inches on each dread (at least) un knotted and loose. I am not worried because I am brushing them out soon. My scalp is reacting too much and my mom thinks I might lose all my hair. But, I am still going to rewax them today so my roots don't totally fall apart.

I would, again, like to thank everyone for all the support.
Being a newbie is tough.
But you guys make it worthwhile.

pdotess- Today is my 3 week nappy anniversary.
