Arghh... My dreads are in a terrible condition.

They're all dry and damaged, and need a lot of touching up at the roots.

I'm thinking about shaving them off and just having short hair, and trying again when they're longer :S [Please advise me against this...]

I've had them for roughly two years, and all the 'lawks at the back are just one big clump of roots. How do you solve this? I've heard so many different things...

One dreadhead told me to use scissors, and another told me not to as the hair becomes loose and falls out, and to rip them apart, and another person told me that ripping them apart creates bumps.

Argh, hughfggfgfwyuf... *Confused*
