a new idea

hey everyone its me with another idea:
so ive noticed people sticking their faces in photocopiers or scanners and it looks really amazing. i dont see why this isnt considered art. us dready folk have the best ones too ha. We should make a type of art called like "PHOTO COPY ART" sooner or later it wouold be taken seriously ha. i mean if a man can paint a dot and stare at it then write down how long he stared at it and it get stuck up in a museum, i don't see how we can fail. Even "Photo copy dreadart" hacause i as i said before we have the coolest photocopies ha.

oh and one more thing: i just got a box from a teacher at my school full of PHISH concerts he's taped with a span of like 5 years. if anyone wants any copies message me or let me know at

oh and p.s. my dreadies like the ocean best:)

hi everybody, i just joined. i'm meggie, and Collapse )

but i have a problem -- they don't stay dyed! i dye them red (with permanent dye) every month or so, but they just want to be this orangeish-yellowish-brownish color. what kind of dye should i use to make the color actually stick??

New dreadies for those with baby fine hair.

Hi All,

Has anyone here put in natural dreads or dread extensions into baby fine hair ?

I've been blessed/cursed with crazy curly hair so this is unknown territory for me ....

Any thoughts, recommendations on techniques for long term care and ranting assurances of the madness of such a pursuit would be appreciated.

hope this works.....

hi, I am new to livejournal so I hope this goes where it's meant to!!

after wanting dreads for a while I decided to go for it a couple of weeks ago even though my hair is rather short, and I decided to leave a fringe at the front... and my question is thus - what does everyone do about washing this bit of hair?? I'm sure I am quite dim and it must be obvious as in all my lurking I haven't seen anyone ask and I looked in the memories too... but I'm sure I'm not the only one with a fringe/bangs or other undreaded bits! does everyone just wash it when they wash their dreads? what do you do when your dreads are young?? I can deal with not washing my knotty hair for a while but I used wax and got some in my fringe so it felt all greasy and didnt like it at all :( do you use regular shampoo or the bar sort on this undreaded hair? so many questions!

for the interested I actually ended up combing them out (ouch!) and plan to start them again tomorrow, but I'm having second thoughts on leaving the fringe because I'm not sure how to wash it O.o so any advice is appreciated!

ta :)
