Peace

(no subject)

I have two things.

1. I recently cut my dreads out to find a job. I know that I shouldn't have but I did. I got a job where they do not care about hair at all. Figures. So now I want them back. My hair is about 3-4 inches long. Has anyone had any sucess with dreading this early? I think that they would just fall out... any tips?

2. Has anyone experimented with putting rubberbands at the roots and leaving them there while you backcomb. Would this make the dreads to small? Would they be thicker when they grew out?

Much love and peace!

OK so normally i never ever do things like this, espically since i have little options as i'm canadian, but i'm going to ask all my American friends and dready bro's and sissa's to do something for me. As you may or may not know, the Senate passed a bill to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling. (New York Times Article here)

What i'm asking you is to write your senator and urge her/him to vote against the budget for the oil drilling, and for them to do anything and everything (within reason of course) to stop this proposed rape of a beautiful landscape.

I realise as a Canadian i have very little to no say in what happens in the politics of the USA, But i'm hoping to find like minded individuals who are utterly appalled at this. So please, write your senator(s) and let them know that drilling in a landscape as fragile and as beautiful as the Arctic should be prevented at all costs.

Wishing you all the best.
