I just started my new set of dreads. I was sick of having perfectly sectioned squares on my scalp, and decided my dreads were lacking in character.

I made this set by combing out the old set, not combinf for a week, tam rubbing a little to strengthen the naturally formed sections, and then backcombed them, so every dread is unique and they look kinda natural to me. I neglect from here.

Im freaking out kids..

Since the min i got dreads iv been having these scalp itches, nothing crazy but just a general itching state, now i kept checking for lice and all i found was dandroff, no more than when my hair wasnt locked.

Im real paranoid about lice, so id appriciate some reassurance - i have these little itchie wounds even where i dont touch my scalp.. Im real scared about possibly having invisible lice or something - so my questions are: will it go away? what does it mean? how can i treat this? is there a god?

i live in washington d.c. and (so as to please the parents) i need to find a salon, hair place, or "professional" to get them done. so, if anybody lives anywhere near D.C. and have any recomendations, do share?
