I finally got to dread Vik's (greeneyedgeisha) hair!

Took quite a bit longer than planned but I managed to get 13 done at the back, and they're looking rather amazing, I'm quite jealous :-)

Here are the results of the get_up_dread_up merchandise vote. It's been a week. I figured if you didn't vote by now, you don't care. Which is cool. Either way. The final vote on t-shirts says it's a go.

56 says "Yes, and I'd buy one!"
35 said, "Yes, but I'm probably not interested."
14 said, "Nah, thanks but no thanks."

So we'll work on getting some merchandise ready for you guys! Here is my idea. I want to hold a contest for the designs. Here are the rules of the get_up_dread_up logo contest.

hey, i have a question. i got my dreads, about 2 weeks ago, and i was told to not get them wet/wash them for 3-4 weeks. well, ive been getting really nasty lately like swimming in gross lakes and stuff. and, i guess this doesnt really matter since i already got them wet, but do you think i can wash them?

they are getting to the point where i am scraping dirt off of my scalp.

i have that knotty boy dread shampoo bar stuff.

I played on the last sunday at a beachvolleyball tournnament and my playpartner and me have won  ^_^

but 5 hours in the hot sun were not so good for my nose and my cheeks   x_x
