Here is my photo update. I've been meaning to do it, but recently moved back to school and haven't had the time. They were created by  lishd a little over a month ago. I've washed them, been in the ocean, and the pool with them. They're holding together well, but they're only a month, so they'll get better with time. I'll try to be patient.

I'm just wondering how old your dreads were before you started crocheting and/or sewing. I've never done it before, but I've looked at the memories and want to give it a shot, but I'm just not sure if there's a certain age that's best to start it at?

so, as you may or may not know, i am letting my hair dread on its own. i had a small setback last night when, at three AM, while cleaning my room, i decided that the best thing to do would be to dye my hair fuchsia, because that's my name. now everything is fuchsia and i have had to wash my hair twice in the past two days because my scalp turned pink, eek! three AM decisions are never good ones!
it's been doing pretty well, a week ago i went to coney island and went swimming in the ocean and then on the cyclone and my hair was doing awesomely. i got home, and my mother said that my hair looked like a rat's nest, and you know what?
