i was having such a good dread day yesterday, i thought i'd post some pictures.
also, there'e been a number of babies on my communities recently, which got me wondering if i could still touch my nose with my foot.

I've done a bit of research and found a lot of good info about it. I know that there is opposition to the perm so I was wondering why. I just want to have both sides of the story before I consider getting one.

Can we start making an effort to expand the memories?
There is some good info in there but much of it is very general and stuff you could find on any dreadlock site. I am thinking specifically of the questions recently on washing new dreads. I posted about it (not sure of the URL to that as it was a while back) and then there was this post as well. The memories do contain a post about washing dreads and a post about shampoo, but nothing specific to washing new dreads and the techniques that people have used and liked etc.
Maybe we could all be on the lookout for posts that contain a lot of good information and try to ask the mods to add these to the memories. This community is awesome, but our memories could use a bit of help :)
Us newly dreaded folks tend to have LOTS of questions and the community is sure to get a ton of repeats if we don't have a lot of specific info in our memories.
