New pictures.

So, the man got me a digital camera for xmas. I've had my dreads for about six months now and they're coming along very nicely. I dyed a few of them about a week ago, so now they're autumn colours (red, brown, blonde). I love it.

one year dreads

my dreads will be a year old next week. and ive been thinking about that for a while.it jsut really makes me happy to know that its been a solid year and i still love my mane more then anything. i never get tired of looking at them or talking about them or touching them, the texture of them, playing with them, pulling them up letting them down. they have changed alot in the past few months.
no one thought i would stick with them this long...but i have and the idea of cutting them off has not yet, not even once crossed my mind.
and so, because the 26th on january is right around the corner and i probably wont have time to post a bunch of pictures, im going to do it right now, while its on my mind

i went through the memories looking for bits and pieces on aloe. in one entry i found claims that it makes dreads nice and tight, and yet in a different post i saw many claim that it moisturizes them and takes out knots. i have a big healthy plant downstairs that i really want to use on my head. can anyone straighten this out for me before i start breaking off the leaves?
hear no

9 months

i just did some maintenance on my locks, and i'm now flashing scalp! whoops. please excuse that.

i posted this to my account accidentally and got an anonymous comment saying 'looks stupid'. it always surprises me how people believe that their ideas about beauty are the same as everyone else's, and, worse, should be obeyed.
