quick question:
my hair is a little longer than shoulder length picture.
when back combing does the length of the dread stay the same length of your hair, or would it shorten up?

move over shirley temple

i set my hair on perm rods last night after getting outta the shower. i used a heavy setting gel to tighten up my roots and then just wrapped each lock clockwise around the rod. my hair looks like curly fries but i kinda love it. but i'm thinking they'll fall by tomorrow. the rods were only like 69 cents a pack and i only needed like....6 or so. i prob should've gotten one more. i used a few diffrent sizes just cause i wasn't sure what would work but i suggest getting the longer ones just the curls came out more defined w those ones. also, don't get the rods with little teeth on them, they're a bitch to take out cause they stick to the dreads.

I'm combing almost all of my dreads out so I can start over. shft2357 and I will be redoing them this coming weekend, if I get them all combed out by then, that is. So far it's going alright and it's not really painful. Good thing I grew up learning how to get massive knots out of my large amount of insanely curly/frizzy/kinky hair. Pictures when it's all done and redone.

I'm considering dying my bangs and a couple dreads some fun colours. My problem is that my hair is already so many different colours, I don't know what would really work. I also don't want to buy all sorts of dye just to experiment.

I want to make my hair rainbow
But I can't afford to buy that many diffrent colors of dye
So I was thinking I'd use the colors of dye that I have (blue and green) and then try using coolaid for the rest of the colors
According to google searches I'm supposed to mix it with conditioner. But I don't think that would do good thing to my dreads.
Would shampoo work as well?
Does anyone have any experience with dying dreads with coolaid or does anyone wanna recomend another cheap way for me to dye my hair?

And because text only posts arnt terribly exciting

So... [22 Jan 2006|07:25pm]
[ mood | crazy ]

I feel like it's been a while since I updated, but I should know better. My last post was December 13th. Here are some pictures anyway. Just a few.

Oh, and I saw a gudu-er in person. And didn't realize he was on here until I saw his picture. I think we're all connected in some way. I mean, especially.
