i think there a post in here recently inquiring about backcombing just roots and leaving the rest of the hair to dread naturally, and if i remember right, someone volunteered to try it. has it worked?
my hair is about shoulder length now (my icon is old) and i haven't brushed it in ten days. but the way clumps are forming, i think i may go nuts if i let it all divide itself. i may be better off if i give the sectioning a little direction. though i hate to use rubber bands, does it seem like it would be a good idea to put them near the roots for a time just to keep the sections separated? whadda y'all think? thanks.
(edit) has anyone gone the natural route and ended up hating the placement of the sections?
