hey everyone. I'm planning to touch up my patchily-dyed hair with punky colors soon (I'm cheap and like it temporary), and I noticed on the container it says "conditioning hair dye". I used manic panic a while ago which turned out nicely but made some of my locks unravel a bit (this could be due to the fact that i left it on overnight). They're about 4 months old now and mostly pretty tight but I'm still kinda concerned. I've searched the memories and google and couldn't really find too much info. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences using it, good or bad? Thanks guys!
(ps. I hopefully should be posting pics soon. need a new cable for my digital camera.)
hi, i'm new to this community.. my boyfriend is wanting dreads, and i recently posted an entry about him to longhair, and they pointed me here. but i'll post about the boy later, i have a question about myself now ;)
i have hair about down to my nipples. which isn't very long yet - i want it down to my elbows. i also want dreads though. so my questions are:
- i have fine hair. can i have dreads without looking like a total dumbass? -- does anyone here have fine hair with dreads that i can see how they look? i just don't want to look stupid.. - do the dreads grow? like if i got them over the summer, would they eventually grow to my desired lenghth? - do any of you get discrminated against, in the work environment, for having them? - any tips for my hair getting thicker beforehand?
syntaxxx error x: I was sooo scared to sleep last night. xI LOVE STREETx: why syntaxxx error x: :-( I was scared when I woke up they'd be all untangled. xI LOVE STREETx: hahah xI LOVE STREETx: i had nightmares liek that for a year xI LOVE STREETx: for real syntaxxx error x: Good. I felt so stupid. xI LOVE STREETx: then lately i have dreams wherei ake up up andtheya re back!! syntaxxx error x: !!!
Wish me luck to a new beginning. :) My hair was realllllly short so they're not that long but I heard dreads are better when you start short anyways. :) Tricks for the ends would be greatly appreciated. ♥
I know im not a big poster in this community, But Thought i would say that Today is the day that i began taking my dreads out. Im cutting a few out that have things tied in them that got eaten by my hair and combing the rest out Im taking pictures of course for you guys
Im just tired of always wearing them out..plus Im graduating college and I feel as though i need to start freash.
I'll miss them i know i will..but I want something different.
ok i know a while back.. i think a long while back actually someone had posted a link to a website that posted a bunch of pictures of different styles you can put dreads up into. i am seriously in need of a little change. i wear my hair in ponytails everyday!! like im talking for the last 6 years!!!!! haha i told you i am in need of a change! :) can anyone help me out? i looked through the memories and couldnt find anything. i belive it was someone going to a prom or that had to be in a wedding party that needed a fancier style for the shindig.
Gah, I can't think of any witty openers about how newly joined I am so...
I've got very fine hair that loves, loves to tangle up. Now, the thing that is confusing me would be that my hair seems to be forming tubes (dreads, whatever you would like to call them at this stage) after only three days of not brushing. Is this normal? Should I be praising some hair god? Or is this an interim phase and they will all come loose within a few more days?
Hey everyone. I was just wondering if there was a certain time span I should wait until I start dyeing my locks? I keep trying the memories, and some work, some do not. Out of the ones that would load, I did not find this. My locks are about two or two and a half months old now...if this has been answered please let me know!! Sorry in advance, folks! :)
