Don't Do This At Home Kids! dreads. A few months ago (well about 4 months ago) I was having some trouble with the mid-end bit of some dreads, where tey would just come undone, and i'd have normal hair slapped between two dreaded ends. After 5 months it just wasn't happeing.
So I went on a mission to find a method to get them to dread after backcombing endlessly, bands, sewing and wrapping didn't work.

I came cross the split and pull through method...
Basically, you take the dread, split th undreaded bit into two, so making like, a hole in the middle...the take the end of the dread, and pull it through (girls do this to their hair sometimes?)It was meant to ttighten and make it dread up.

Turns out the method only half works. On the fatter fluffydreads, the two twisted strands dreaded together fine. But on the smaller, thinner ones, the two split sides just dread themselves...SO I kinda have a few little dreads that split in to two, then back into one qagain. Its realy odd, and looks wierd. I also annoys me greatly.

Has nyone else tried/heard of this method? I don't think I'd recommend it really, unless you have som fat fluffy dreads that are desperately in need of help.

I'm sure job related questions have been asked here before.
But, i was just wondering if anyone had worked in a clothing store while
having dreads. Did your employer care?
