Well I went out into the graveyard on our school campus with some friends and got some great pictures of the colour now that my hair had dried.

Back-combing Question

Hey guys!

I've been watching this community for about a year, and my hair is finally long enough for me to start some dreadlocks (it's been growing out from a buzz). I'm going to be back-combing, I'm sectioning myself. The memory entries have been extremely helpful. :) I just had a quick question regarding backcombing that I couldn't seem to find mentioned in the memories:

While back-combing the hair I have sectioned off, should I be rotating the comb around the strand of hair?

I don't know if that would be unnessasary, or make for a more even lock.

Thank you in advance! Sorry if this is a stupid, or common sense question.

wooh obnoxious smiles and 4 month old dreadies.

So, every time i get my hair wet, the tips fall apart. i ripped and twisted them pretty good, but the littlest amount of water makes them soften up and fall apart; sometimes half way up the dread. This makes washing.... difficult. I use dr bronners and im gentle with them, but its getting annoying. and they needa' washin. Anybody have this problem? Do i need to be more patient? Bahhhhhh thank you all.
