I dreaded my little sister yesterday! She has wanted dreads for a long time now, and finally mum and dad gave in. My mum actually paid me to do them, and she has completely changed her mind about dreads! She thinks my sister looks great:) I used the backcombing method, and it took 6-7 hours! We didn't have a camera, only my cellphone, so the pictures are really bad. But I will post better pictures later.

(this is not a good picture of her..)

It's a year and a bit...

Well, my dreadies turned one on the 20th feb, but I've been a bit stressed out lately and haven't had time to upload anything.

I also got a new camera with a fab zoom on it! (finally, decent pics!)

Here's the overdueness of pictures, quite image heavy though!

Haha, one really enjoys the "younger dreads" I'll make this quick. :]
Tangled mess of hair will be 2 months on the 13th. Truth be told, they're kind of irritating, but I still love them none the less..

They're not so well defined anymore of perfect...underside in the back is all in huge knots though I've been seperating them after washing them and whatnot...still, that never seems to work out too well.

I haven't really done anything to them besides washing maybe once every 1 or 2 weeks...and the occasional saltwater...
But we're getting there. The roots seem to be knotting fine but the ends, it seems, have completely unraveled.

shampoo + rash?

i'm having a strange problem, my scalp has been breaking out with some sort of rash for a long time. So i went to the doctor and he prescribed me a shampoo. I don't usually wash my hair with shampoo and if i do it's non-residue.

My question is if i use the shampoo to fix this rashy problem will it get residue and other nasty things in my dreadlocks.
