Okay, so

I'm debating on whether I should dye my dreads,

I really would like to, but, I don't know how I want to do it.

All I know is that I want to have brown and bleach the tips

I'm thinking on how I should do it

like maybe;

dye some of them brown and bleach them all

dye all brown and bleach some

or dye and bleach all?

I totally forgot how to 'cut' on lj, don't get mad and send me to FAQ im on a slow ass computer

it'd be nice if i had gotten some help or whatevs in the next day or so

I just started dreads 8 days ago! I love them so much already

I had a chelsea cut so only the front half of my hair is dreaded.
I was just wondering if there were any other dreaders who had chelsea cuts?

It's a little weird having the back so short but I'm going to start taking biotin to see if that helps it a bit.

I love this community, it's helped a lot.
:] have a good day

Dyeing Dreads = Wax Removal?

So just short of the one year anniversary of my dreads I had them dyed by a very good friend of mine who happens to be a hair dresser.
I was having some trouble removing the wax from my dreads.
I hope I don't get the dreaded (pun not intended...) "read the memories" but....
Has anyone else noticed that dyeing your dreads removes all the wax out of them?

No pics for now... I'm gonna save all that for my one year post on August 13th.

Oh and btw, my friend did indeed go by Lish's lovely dyeing manual. I recommended it because she didn't know how to dye dreads. So what I'm trying to say was the dye wasn't mashed into my dreads or anything like that.
