Essential Undercut??

I met up with my friend the other day and he'd just given himself an undercut.. when I asked him why he said it was because he was getting dreads and you 100% must absolutely have an undercut or they get seriously disgusting etc etc. I told him all the people I know with dreads do not have an undercut, but nevertheless I searched through the memories here and I have yet to find anything about undercuts.

Where would he get this idea from? Might be worth noting he's getting synthetic dreads.. but still..

I needs my dread babies....

After a year of withdrawl, I've decided that taking out my dreads last year was a huge mistake. With that in mind, I want to give them a go... yet again. Would anyone in the Toronto area be interested in dreading me? I'm thinking early to mid-October, just because life is crazy this month. If you're interested, leave me a comment with your email address and we can talk about rates and all of that fun stuff.

i went on a trip

I like roadtrips a lot, and I like the ocean a lot, so I take a lot of roadtrips to the Ocean. My friend and I drove all the way from central landlocked Alberta to Vancouver Island - Victoria to be exact.

New dreads - tying up in ponytail

Hi everyone! I'm so glad I found this community, its been sooo helpful and I finally decided to take the plunge and dread my hair. I'm currently about half way done and it will be finished tomorrow when I get some help from a friend to do the back.

I just have one question and I've searched the memories and can't find anything on this. Is it ok to tie back new dreads into a ponytail? Will it damage them at all? I wouldn't have them tied back constantly, just every now and then if they're getting in my way or when in the shower.

Thanks for your help!
