would anyone in the metro-detroit/ann arbor area care to help me start my 10938476th set of dreads? i started half of my head last year and then combed them out in a fit of pregnant hormones and now my hair is shorter, and i need help sectioning it. i can pay you in cookies, cute baby entertainment, or free coffee and lots of it, whole bean or ground. i can drive, or you can come over!

or we could have that always-talked-about-but-never-actually-set-up-dread-party, yeah?

So I'm not sure if this is a stupid question but my dreads are almost 4 months and I know that it takes 2-5 or something to be mature. I was just wondering how do you know that they are mature? does that mean that they are as tight as there going to get or... well I don't know

new baby dread

i love babies... it's been more than a year since i've had any new dread development.  but just in the last couple of days, the loose hairs on the back of my head are finally starting to dread!  it sticks out sorta funny, but i love it anyway!

I'm impulsive like that...

I dreamed last night that I took scissors to my dreadlocks, and woke up at 6AM really itchy and distracted.

So, I shaved my head. My dreadies were only 3 months old- so until next time I'll have to admire you guys from afar. :)
