guns!

Courage.

So I've been lurking around on this community for a little while now and I just finally finally finally got the courage to do my own dreads.  Actually if it wasn't for this community I might have never done them!
So I just wanted to say Hi and thanks.

I know I just posted my one year timeline, but I'm taking a break from studying biology so I thought I'd post this picture of my two craziest dreads.

Technically I suppose they are the most flawed, but they make me so incredibly happy. =)

Death to Loops

This post is sort of pointless, but I've been sick for a week and bored out of my mind, so I'm gonna make it anyway. :)

I am soooo sick of the loops on the ends of some of my dreads. Most of them have absorbed their loopies by now, except for a select few, so I decided to try wrapping two of them with hemp. It's been ages since I've had any wraps in my hair, so we'll see.

They aren't the best looking wraps, but hopefully they'll only be on there for a tiny bit until those friggin' loops go away.

I'll leave you all alone now. :)

Have a great day!

Just something I created in my studio last week and wanted to share. It's part of an album that I'm creating on a journey of "self, healing and affirmation." it shows my dreads, so it counts. :)

I think it's awesome to see the growth that's happened with my dreads in this picture, where my bead on my fatty is level with my lips, and in THIS POST, where the bead is at the bottom of my chin. :)

Oh heck, I might as well add this one, too. I did this one about 4 weeks ago. I know I shared this photo WAY back in December of January but here's what I eventually did with it.
