Oh no!

Some of you may remember that lonely, single dread I had sometime last week.
I accidentally brushed it out!!

But tonight, I was putting more in. I put two layers-ish in the back, bottom of my head.
But, as I was doing this my backcomb broke! It was a RID lice comb and the little metal teeth came out. I hope that means I was backcombing well enough.

What I've decided to do about it is stop brushing my hair so I don't lose the babies I have in the back. Well, I won't brush my hair until I have another comb as to be able to fix them...

Yeah!
Nightmares

4 months today

My dreads turned 4 months today, and I love them. They're not straight by any stretch of the imagination, they're curly, kinky and crazy. I felted some wool into them yesterday. and I love how it turned out. Sorry for the crappy quality, my cam is down atm. :)Collapse )

Soooo, my dreads turned two years old this past weekend without me even remembering. Frick time goes by fast. Other then desperately needing a dye a job and some loose hairs needing to be tucked in, they actually make me incredibly happy =)

Does this place look good?

I did a search for places in my city that might do dreads, and the only thing I found was a place called Wosa's in a strip mall in the city. I went and checked it out but it was really hard to tell what they do there. Here's the site:

here

It's not a salon and they don't do dread perms. It's more natural apparently. I wouldn't want a dread perm cause I heard they come undone and they're not like real dreadlocks. So this place sounds nice. I'm just not sure if they use backcombing there or what. Anyone have any good or bad comments from what you can see on the site?
