i tried the baking soda deep clean, hooooly crap.

it was awesome. scary too!

the dirty water was, quite frightening.

i mixed the baking soda, salt and lemon mixture with lavender and peppermint essential oils and washed with a bar of activated charcoal soap. the result was insanely clean feeling and smell!

i'll be doing them much more often.

ty, gudu.

    against me!

I can haz moral support?

Meet the Redd family.

I just had a phone conversation with my mom, asking me if I could "tone down" the hair for Christmas, "be a little more conservative". I said I'd dye the hair something neutral but the dreads weren't coming out. She got real quiet and didn't say much else about it. I feel kind of like a dick, but I really love how they're coming together with only the most minor interference from soulhaus and I. Am I too attached? Am I making too big a deal out of what is, from at least one perspective, "just hair"? Or am I putting my foot down about something that makes me really happy to have in my life? Arrgh.
