(no subject)

Hi! It's my first post in this community...
I've had my dreads about a month and a half now. So far, I love them. I have super curly hair, so they are dreading real fast. My only complaint is that because my hair is so curly, the ends don't want to dread and instead just kinda curl and stay hair-like. But I haven't had them long, so I am being patient.

wedding styles

Im in a wedding thats being held on Saturday and I have no clue what to do with my hair. I don't want to cover it with a hair wrap or anything like that. If i could have some suggestions-it would help alot.
I have shoulder length dreads and they're pretty fat..
thank you so much!

YES!

My best friend and I dreaded our hair together. We figured it would be good to have a buddy who knows what your going through, because it is frustrating! They will be three weeks old this Thursday. And this Saturday her and I will get to see what two weeks with out one another's help has done to our hair. I've gone back to school, so we're separated... :( But I have a friend here who helps me. She does pretty well, too. I'm a lot more confident with them this time than the last. I think that's because when we dreaded them I was going through a rough break up. I feel sort of liberated with them, I guess. Before, I was like, "Oh, boys aren't going to like me with crappy beginning dreads." But now I feel if someone doesn't like me for them, then they're not really someone I need to be associated with. My ex turned out to be a real fuckhead and complained when I started doing them (no, it wasn't the demise of our relationship. far more idiotic and complicated). I'm starting a new year at school, a new leaf, new hair. I got this.

And these are some pictures.
