My good friend said he is going to help me with my dreads this upcoming weekend. His are smooth, not missing a hair, but I'm kind of nervous because his hair is "ethnic" and mine is very very, not ethnic. He did his much different than mine [the twisting, much more time, salons], I did mine by back coming, and sleeping on them, not brushing. So mine are quite natural.

So I'm kind of concerned about what he might do. He said the night before this little get together [we're gonna have a dreads train! :)!!!] I need to wash my hair with bar soap that has no moistureiser, then I need to blowdry it, wash it again, the same way. And before blowdrying it, spray it with a sea salt/lemon juice mix, then blowdry it. He said he has a flea comb that he's gonna tear my hair up with. I'm really nervous that he's gonna destroy my hair. I don't think he would do it on purpose since I've known him for almost 10 years, but I don't think he understands how different my hair is.

Has anyone done anything like he told me to do before? Please leave me comments before Friday! Thanks.
