hooooly mother, I wasn't even paying attention to my head, and then today I looked at the calendar and realized my dreads are four weeks old. I feel like I have an aura of confidence about me now. It's so nice to wake up and not have to do anything to my hair :D sigh.
I palmroll them while they're damp, and wash them once or twice a week, but other than that I don't do anything. Some of them are really loose and the ones in the back on the bottom are only dreaded for about half an inch. The tips are loose and crazy (I love them!) and I've noticed some of them are trying to join together. A lot of the ones in the back are flat from my sleepage, but I figure I'll just let them go and see what happens. I'm thinking about using a sea salt water spray, but I'm not sure, I might just let them be. I AM going to the ocean for a few days over spring break, though, and I'm anxious to see what that will do to them, but I'm trying to be patient. ahhhhh, patience.

I'm having one of those days where all the words I write don't seem like they're words. Patience? Weeks? Four? Loose? Anxious? meh. those are not words.

I didn't go to school today because I'm taking a mental health day. So I'm going to go be productive and work on things. wheeeee!
