Yesterday I finally got some maintenance on my guys after starting them (almost) 9 months ago. It was the first time in a long time that every dread got some love and they looked and felt so neat after! It also felt so good having my scalp washed and dreads tighted by someone else. She wants to help me get them looking really nice by having her do the maintenance every two weeks although I'm not sure how she wants me to afford it, even with her reasonable $40 fee. They seem to still be shrinking up and getting shorter so I'm hoping the one year mark will cue their growth. Here are a few pics to give you a better idea:
