dreads are done and 2 days old (haha)

So, yeah.
I know the general consensus was for me to not use wax, but, as I should have mentioned, I had tried doin dreads once before without it, and really disliked the way they looked. I know that if I had waited they'd have gotten better, but, personally I'd prefer them to look somewhat presentable from the start so I can keep them longer. I know there is a possibility of them not looking as good later on (though I have yet to find a post somewhere that has comparison pictures) but 1) I think I will still love them 2) I tend to not have the same opinions as most people and don't care what others think.

I am also not planning to use the wax again. I only used it to make the dreads.
So, that being said and out of the way, I am first going to show you the picture of the dreads I just backcombed without wax and then took out:

and then, I will show you this current set, and the process

this is me before I started the whole process:

I knew I wanted a funky color for my dreads so I had to bleach out the brown...and green as well. So this was the first step.

Then I put in deep purple sfx haircolor...

3 dreads done...I'm aware I messed up on the coloring of the top of my head but I think it looks pretty cool actually.

what i looked like with a few in...notice my horribly bad bang trim i did beforehand...

and then voila!
